CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) Lining Services | LoJac

Renew Underground Pipelines Without Trenching, Digging, or Disruption

When aging sewer mains, storm drains, or culverts begin to crack, leak, or deteriorate, traditional replacement methods often mean major disruption—tearing up roads, blocking traffic, and spending weeks on surface restoration.

At LoJac, our Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining Services offer a smarter, trenchless alternative. By installing a jointless, seamless liner directly inside your existing pipe, we create a new structural pipe within the old host pipe, extending its service life by 30+ years without digging up your property or disturbing existing hardscapes

What is Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP)?

CIPP is an advanced trenchless pipe rehabilitation method used to repair aging or damaged underground infrastructure. A flexible, resin-impregnated felt liner is inserted into the existing pipe using air pressure, water pressure, or pulling mechanisms.

Once in place, heat (steam or hot water) or UV light is applied to cure the resin. The resin hardens into a rigid, joint-free, corrosion-resistant composite pipe that bonds tightly to the host structure.

Why Choose CIPP Trenchless Rehabilitation?

CIPP delivers structural strength equal to or greater than installing brand-new pipe, but with a fraction of the downtime and financial expense.

Key Benefits

  • Zero Surface Destruction: Eliminates costly excavation, pavement replacement, and landscaping restoration.
  • 30+ Year Design Life: Creates a structural, corrosion-proof pipe engineered to withstand heavy soil loads and chemical exposure.
  • Improved Flow Capacity: The smooth, jointless interior lining reduces friction loss, improving hydraulic capacity even with a slight reduction in pipe diameter.
  • Eliminates Infiltration & Inflow (I&I): Seals cracks, offset joints, and root gaps to keep groundwater out and sewage in.
  • Rapid Installation & Minimal Traffic Impact: Most CIPP installations are completed in a single day, keeping roadways and local businesses open.

The Step-by-Step CIPP Process

1

CCTV Inspection & Pre-Cleaning

Assessment and pipe wall preparation.

High-pressure water liquefies and breaks down the soil precise to your specs.

2

Liner Insertion & Positioning

Controlled installation via existing access points.

The resin-saturated liner is inserted into the pipe using air or water pressure (inversion) or pulled into place through existing manholes or access points.

3

Curing & Curing Verification

Heat or UV application for rapid hardening.

Steam, hot water, or UV light is circulated through the liner, triggering a chemical reaction that hardens the resin into a solid, structural pipe within hours.

4

Reinstatement & Final Quality Check

Robotic branch connections and final video audit.

A robotic cutting tool opens any lateral service connections covered by the liner, followed by a final CCTV camera inspection to ensure a smooth, seamless fit.

Core Applications

LoJac’s CIPP solutions cater to a wide range of municipal, commercial, and industrial utility infrastructure:

Sanitary Sewer Main Rehabilitation

Seal leaking joints, prevent root intrusion, and stop I&I across municipal sewer networks.

Storm Sewer & Culvert Lining

Restore structural integrity under highways, railways, and busy roadways without stopping traffic.

Industrial Process Piping

Protect pipelines handling corrosive effluent with specialized resin formulations designed for high temperatures and chemicals.

Lateral Service Line Lining

Renew residential and commercial sewer lateral connections without disrupting sidewalks or landscaping.

Traditional Dig-and-Replace vs. CIPP Trenchless Lining

Feature

Traditional Dig-and-Replace

LoJac CIPP Trenchless Lining
